Age: 33 moons
Rank: Warrior
Clan: GustClan
Gender: Male
Physical Description:
Russetleaf is an average sized ginger tom. He has patches of darker fur in random places along his back and flanks. A pure white underbelly contrasts sharply with the rest of his ginger pelt. He also has a darker orange tail, darker orange paws, and a darker orange patch over his right eye.[/size]
His fur is somewhat short, causing him to chill easily. Russetleaf has a strong frame with rather large shoulders, and he's well muscled. His tail is longer than average.
This tom's eyes are a vivid green, like the color of leaves in greenleaf. Set what seems a bit close together in his face, he can't see too well to the sides of him, but his vision in front stretches oddly far.
Personality:
Russetleaf is a very calm tomcat. He's not bashful, and he'd rather think of a battle plan rather than just charging out. Some cats often come to him for advice, and he'd gladly give it, just so long as he can get a good thinking about it.
Russetleaf is the type of cat that would rather not fight. Every now and then he can come up with a witty remark, but most of the time he's nice and kind. The orange tom cares for all cats. He hates seeing others get hurt, part of why he'd rather think of battle plans to avoid injuries.
History:
Born to a brown tabby she-cat named Sparrowpelt and a ginger tom named Thorntail early one Greenleaf day, Russetkit was a very calm kit. His sister, Flightkit, was always curious, determining her dead-set personality; since Russetkit was not as adventurous, he was more mysterious, and it took longer for cats to understand what he liked and didn't like. Soon, they were eager apprentices.
Russetpaw was apprenticed to a she-cat named Orangefur. She had similar personlity to his, causing the two cats to get along well. Russetpaw was trained well by Orangefur, and he nearly always followed her orders, only disobeying when her desicions clashed with the leader's or deputy's. Once he was attacked by Flightpaw with her claws, but he forgave her. When he and his sister reached their 13th moon, they were both blessed with the rank of warrior; they were named Flightwing and Russetleaf.
Very soon after the two became warriors, a fight with BoneClan over the border happened. Russetleaf's sister was on the patrol. After a while they came back with scratches, and the orange-ginger tom wondered what happened.
Russetleaf has never had an apprentice, though his sister did get one. He was offered the chance but the leader decided to give it to an older, more experienced warrior, leaving the ginger warrior longing for one to teach, like he was taught.
Soon Russetleaf's sister became deputy after a fit of greencough took the old one. He was proud to see her excel at her life, even though he was slightly jealous tthat she got such a high position in the Clan, even though he was aware that he couldn't have become deputy anyway--he'd never had an apprentice.
Even though he was a lower rank than she, Flightwing came to him for advice and help if she couldn't make a desicion about something. Proud to be her sort of advisor, he tried to give her the best advice he could.
Late leaf-fall, one night their leader lost her final life. Russetleaf wished his sister well on her journey to the Moonlit Ravine to claim her nine lives, as devistated as they all were by Nightstar's loss.
Role Play Example:
Silverleaf sat crouched in a swaying patch of heather, the breeze rippling her silver-gray fur as well. Heaving a great sigh, blue-green eyes troubled, the warrior rolled onto her back and glanced up to the sky, where shades of orange, violet, and red were spread across the sky. It was the end of the day again, the time when the sun set, causing the lake to turn blood-red with the reflected sunset.
The gray cat sighed again, and forced a smile on her face. It could be worse. She could be terribly injured, or be an outcast. The sense of loneliness that she had right now could be even greater; she briefly recalled the wonderful feelings of her earlier life, of friendship.
She stared at the sky until the first glitters of Silverpelt began to appear, little white dots in the dark purple sky. The grass underneath her silver-gray pelt was long and cool, as if soothing her heated troubles.
By the time the whole disc of the moon was above the horizon, Silverleaf's eyes had closed, and she drifted into a doze. Breathing softly and evenly, she soon found herself standing in a tree-surrounded glade.
She glanced around wildly, wondering where she was, and her bright eyes caught the shape of a dark gray shadow in the ferns. "Who are you?" she asked, her voice hoarse. What was she doing here?
There was no response, but suddenly, the loneliness Silverleaf had been feeling ebbed, leaving her with a warm glow. Then she was opening her eyes again, to see the moon almost a quarter up in the sky and the stars twinkling even brighter.
yeah, one of meh good ones. XD
