Name: Deathflower
Age: 27 moons
Rank: Warrior
Clan: BoneClan
Physical Description: Deathflower is a dark reddish-black she-cat with brilliant gooseberry green eyes. Her paws, from tip to elbow-ish is darker that the rest of her red-black fur. She appears to be practically skin and bones, but Deathflower easily explains it away to the fact that she's never eaten much after the death of her mother and brothers. If it weren't for Skyfire, her last remaining family, she probably wouldn't eat at all. Though she is gaunt, her pelt does not lack in luster and is always clean... That is, unless she's been playing with unmentored apprentices or kits, and having dusty fur is to be expected. Her sight is above average, her hearing is above average, and her sense of smell is average.
Personality: Deathflower is normally very calm. She enjoys sitting and picking at the apprentices, but maybe that's only because she doesn't have one to call her own. She's realized that, in time, she'll be given an apprentice, but for now, she's content with what she has. Though she is normally calm and level-headed, she does have her nasty moments. And by this point, most of the clan knows that though she has a vicious bark, her bite isn't anything serious unless it's called for. When she's in a bad mood, she will usually only listen to Skyfire, the deputy, or the leader.
History: Long before Deathflower was born into the life of a clan cat, her mother, at that time a Loner, begged to join the clan. The clan's leader had agreed, and the story began.
Deathflower's mother chose a mate, and before long, they had three healthy little toms to call their own. What seemed only a short time later to the citizens of Boneclan, Deathflower's father was crushed beneath a monster on the edge of the Thunderpath. Around that same time, Deathflower's mother realized she would soon kit again.
As a young kit, her eyes still that demure blue, Deathflower's mother had thought her to be the perfect little she-cat out of all three of her arrogant elder brothes. She wasn't the white of an angel, but the black that came with night, that of a devil. They chose to call her Deathkit because of how her brothers avoided her when they came in to visit their mother. Shortly after Deathflower became an apprentice, her mother and two of her older brothers were on a patrol when, along that same stretch of Thunderpath, a monster swerved and collided with the small patrol. Deathpaw and the only remaining brother, Firestorm, were allowed to break the clan tradition and help bury their family. Moons later, Deathpaw became Deathflower, in memory of her mother. Deathflower has never had an apprentice, even after all this time. She would like one, yes, but she won't die from waiting.
Role Play Example:
"Deathflower? Where are you?"
The dark red-black she-cat turned, a preditorial gleam in her eye. She was almost perfectly hidden among the shadows, and the only tell tale heart were her green eyes. In fact, if she wanted to, she could just wait until her brother pressed closer intot he undergrowth... But where's the fun in that?
She leapt into the open and growled in mock visciousness. Skyfire, her brother, jumped a good foot into the air before scrambling back, golden eyes narrowed in anger.
"Deathflower! That's not very nice."
She gave him a look which one might've mistaken for a two-leg grin, and her eyes closed lazily. "No, it's not. But revenge is sweet, Skyfire."
He stared at her blankly. "What revenge?"
"I went to unbury that pile of fresh kill, and it wasn't there! you made me look like afool in front of the whole clan!"
Skyfire watched her blankly before recognition set it. "Oh. Well... I'd forgotten that I'd asked a couple apprentices to pick it up, because they needed tracking skills, and I wanted to see if they'd find it."
Deathflower watched him carefully now, the fur finally lying flat against her haunches. "Really now?"
"Yeah. They found it, too... But I forgot to mention it." He brushed up against her, purring softly. "Sorry, sis."
She stared at him, angrily narrowing her eyes for a moment. When he leapt back again, she let out a mrrow of laughter. "It's fine, I guess." And with that, she started back to camp.
Skyfire stared in amazement. Had he really gotten off that easily?
"But remember... Never do that again, or I'll feed you to a badger."
This time, when Deathflower mrrowed with laughter, Skyfire joined too. Then, he ran to catch up and they made their way back to camp together.
Other: Skyfire is her only living brother. ((I plan on doing him once Deathflower is accepted. :3))
