Honeypaw twitched her tail as Icestar dismissed her. "Whatever," she growled in an undertone, shrugging. She didn't need to bother arguing anymore. Icestar was clearly sick of it, and she didn't want to get in more trouble. Despite her sarcasm, she was still a loyal warrior.
The golden apprentice spun around, back to the apprentices' den.
((bad x3 And now she needs something to do...))

A fake prophesy. That apprentice thinks it's nothing, but she is young. She wouldn't understand. The gray she-cat heart Icestar say her name. She padded into her leaders den. Smokestripe guessed her leader would tell her not to be to hard or too demanding. She lifted one of her long legs and licked a paw. "What is it, Icestar?" She meowed.

Her eyes narrowed. "I need you to check on my medicine cat; spy on her I guess you could call it." "I am afraid I lost her trust..." She mewed, eyes narrowed. "Do this for a few days... and report back to me at nightfall at the end of each day." She mewed, flicking her tail. "And-- there is a prophecy." "I am not sure if she is telling the truth or not..." She hesitated, then regained her self. "She said something about a big battle...and it involves the other clans... What do you think?" She asked, a little edgy at what the deputy would say.

Stargazer sighed. Of course, Icestar happened to overhear them in the cave-camp. "Icestar," she meowed, "I think that if Honeypaw could really really use her warrior name." Sighing again, she stood up and walked off.

"I can't say I hope for a battle, but if thats what it comes to we must meet it." Smokestripe said, her voice was strong and sure. Besides, she would never show weakness in front of Icestar. "I will watch Stargazer." She paused and added; "Who knows, there may be others who are disloyal."
(It's so fun to play Smokestripe XD)

Icestar closed her liquid green eyes; ignoring the medicine cat in anger. "I don't exactly want a battle..." "But Starclan has decided out will; if she is telling the truth, anyway." She meowed, her voice strong and steady. "Whatever is done, must be done." "My faith in Starclan will pull our clan through." She mewed, her hopes were high. "I am sure we will pull through!" She meowed strongly. "Battles are not simple..." "They are tricky, and tough." "We must prepare. She mewed, sitting down and licking her paw; then drawing it over her ear a couple times.

"We are strong, and I hope a battle does not come." The deputy dipped her head. "Excuse me I must see to the patrols. Even if battle is said to come we can still patrol and hunt." Smokestripe got up and padded out of the den. She looked around, wondering what cats would be best for hunting. The Clan needed to be fed.

Stargazer looked back over her starred shoulder, her secretive blue eyes wide with thought and wonder. "May StarClan hope you decide right on whatever you do in the next moon," she murmured, glancing at the hole in the roof of the gaint cave, at the morning light. "Honeypaw?" she called, turning around to search for the spicy apprentice. She was hungry, but she wanted someone to talk to. Honeypaw could keep a secret, no matter how loud and talkative she could get, no matter how disrespectful she was. Honeypaw would make a good warrior, maybe deputy, but, for the time being, she needed a friend that could confide something in her. Where is she? Stargazer thought, opening her mouth and calling the apprentice's name again.

In the apprentices' den, Honeypaw sulkily prodded a ball of moss, one of them that made up her nest. Now she wouuld probably get in trouble for something she didn't even do.
Stargazer's faint voice came to her ears, and they pricked. Was she calling her? Curious, the brown she-cat pushed herself to her paws and poked her head out the den, blinking in the morning sunlight.
She spotted Stargazer opening her jaws, and the apprentice emerged fully from the den, trotting across the clearing to the medicine cat. "What is it?" she asked scornfully. Honeypaw couldn't say that she had no grudge.

Stargazer rolled her eyes a little. "Can you help me with some herbs? I don't have an apprentice yet, and since my mentor isn't around anymore, I really do need help," Stargazer meowed, blinking her dark blue eyes.

Honeypaw blinked, uncertain. Would she want to go around following the medicine cat, helping collect herbs? Well, it would make her look responsible... Puffing out her chest a bit, she meowed in a loud voice, "Sure, Stargazer, I'll go help you collect herbs." (( Short. ))

"Would you mind if I joined you?" Came a sudden voice, and in a bound of long gray legs Smokestripe dashed up. "I was going hunting, so maybe I could just follow you?" She asked, remembering her orders to watch the medicine cat. "I might even be able to carry a few herbs back." She doubted they would refuse. She was the deputy, after all.

Stargazer looked the swift deputy up and down. "Fine," she meowed finally, after staring at her for a few moments of silence, her eyes scanning for anything. She trusted the deputy, but something was making her wonder if she should shake the she-cat off in the forest. Stargazer twitched her whiskers, and stiffened. Was the deputy spying on her? What was that look in the deputy's gaze that told her that something was amiss? She shrugged it off, and left the camp, flicking her tail.

Smokestripe followed, trying not to act too guarded. Ick. Snow and ice. Who made this stuff, anyway? She thought padding through the thick white powder. "Woah!" She yowled as she slipped on an ice patch and hit a tree followed by a good amount of snow falling on her head. She popped up from the cold snow and padded back on track. She flicked off some snow from her shoulder, but she couldn't keep the amusement out og her amber gaze.
