Skysong followed Hawkwing into the Moors, and instantly the smell of prey his her nose. Savoring the juicy smell she took a deep breath, closing her bright blue eyes for a moment. Opening them, she trotted quicker, matching Hawkwing's pace.
"It's a beautiful night to hunt." she said with a purr. StarClan was shining brightly tonight, and few clouds were in the sky.

Hawkwing's shoulder brushed Skysong's, and he relaxed. No, there was nothing wrong with him, he was sure. It was just a female warrior, with him, at night. He pricked his ears and his poision eyes gleamed with mischeif. "Why don't we catch something and spend the night out here?" he suggested, his eyes taking in the breathtaking area around them. The stars shone beautifully, though not as beautifully as the she-cat by his side, but it was still a lovely sight.

Skysong was gazing at the sky in awe, but still heard the deputy offer to spend the night here. She smiled. "I've always loved sleeping out with StarClan." she commented, bringing her gaze to watch Hawkwing.
"It will especially be nice sleeping out here with you" she said playfully, before batting his nose and crouching, ears twitching for prey. Hearing a mouse she crept up on it, making sure she made as little noise as possible, then pounced. The now-dead mouth was in her jaws, and she brought it back to where Hawkwing still was. She dropped it and licked her muzzle.
"We can share, if you want." she said.

Hawkwing felt a long-gone purr arise from this throat. "Oh yeah?" he replied, taking a gentle swipe at her ear. The mouse smelled good, and it was pretty fat. He sat down and pushed it towards her, waiting for her to eat first.

Skysong purred in reply. "Yeah." she answered him, before pawing his nose again. Looking at the mouse, she crouched down and began to daintily eat it, careful not to get blood all over her. Once she ate her fill she sat up. There was more than enough for Hawkwing.

Hawkwing's whiskers twitched a little at the slow way she ate, making sure she didn't get anything on her. Leaning down he took a careful bite, and then, after giving Skysong a devilish look, he dug in and splattered his muzzle with blood. Slowly, he raised his head and gave her a mutinous look from hooded eyes, which gleamed with amusement. "How's that for slow and elderly eating?" he teased, licking his muzzle.

Watching him pointedly glare at her she grinned as he got blood all over himself. She chuckled at him, brushing his shoulder with her tail. Then she scoffed teasingly at him. "If that's slow, then I am a rabbit." she said, her smile turning into a mischevious grin. Then, she began to groom herself, washing off any spots of blood or dirt off of her pelt. Once her coat was gleaming like moonlight, she looked up again, with that same grin.

Hawkwing rolled his poision green eyes as she washed. Turning around, he looked around at where they were. The night sky seemed to stretch on and on, few clouds in the sky. The moon was bright, almost full. I wonder what it's like up there, he thought to himself.

Skysong looked at Hawkwing, than at StarClan. She blinked at it. It was always beautiful. Rising to her feet she trotted over to the tom, sitting right next to him. "Just to think we will be up there someday..." she murmured quietly, poking her nose into his neck fur.

Hawkwing settled down, letting her put her nose into his fur. "Yes," he meowed, "one day, we will walk the skies with them forever. For all eterity." His voice rang with confidence--but his heart said he wouldn't make it there. The Place of No Stars shadowed his steps in every way. Impossible to escape, fearing sleep, twisting his head into dark thoughts of murder.

She could feel his warmth and cuddled closer, unable to explain why she did just that. He seemed safe to her, safe and comforting. His doubting thoughts went unnoticed by Skysong as she closed her eyes and sighed, thinking of nothing but Hawkwing and his warmth.

[[ Harharhar. ]]
Hawkwing's ears twitched as he examined their surroundings. The starts are bright tonight, he thought idly, blinking his poision green eyes. The ground will be covered with blood soon. The Clans will remember the day that will come. The day that GustClan would be glorious in battle. "At least it isn't raining," he commented, eyes scrutinizing the few thick clouds in the sky.

((SO sorry I've been busy with work and school and all that. I'll be more active now. BTW, this is GustClan))
Skysong smiled slightly, and yawned. "Yes, I would not enjoy rain." she commented, laying on the ground. It was so nice out...and she was sleepy. Closing her eyes she sighed, content with the world. StarClan seemed to watch over her like sentenials. She was always safe. Soon, she fell asleep.

[[ Minor error. xD I wasn't paying attention! ]]
Hawkwing studied her sleeping expression for a moment before curling up against her. His eyes were still open, narrow poision green slits. Of course....rain would ruin everything. It would ruin his chance to have a cat to use. She'd be quite easy to work on, seeing as of how she's so cooperative. But, somehow, he didn't think that he could do that to her. Maybe. Slowly, he closed his eyes, and drifted off to sleep, his nose in her fur.
