The white-chested tabby sat in a dip, between two bramble bushes, blue-green eyes scanning the area. Her small shape sat alone, besides for the rabbits and swallows scurrying about. She tilted her head and chuckled. The medicine cat apprentices' belly was growling in hunger, but there she was, sitting next to the fresh-kill pile, ignoring the smell that wafted from the assorted rodents and birds.
Mirrorpaw turned and lowered her head, scanning the area. Maybe....that sparrow. It was not too plump, but it wasn't scrawny. The sunny weather had saved them; it had been beautiful and not too cold for the past few days. She dropped into a crouch, moving lightly among the heather. Eyes narrowed, ears twitching, she pounced, landing on top of the bird. Her claws slid out of their sheaths and dug into the animal's spine before it could react. Crack. She blinked--it had been forever since she had hunted a bird. She hadn't expected to catch it. She padded around until she found a soft spot to sit and devoured the fresh-kill. She licked her lips and sat silently, striped tail wrapped around her white paws. Her thoughts drifted away...

[Ivypaw]

(this should be fun!)

Ivypaw was out for a stroll in the forest enjoying the lands when she hsaw mirrorpaw. Ivypaw got down low and made sure she was down wind. She padded slowly but quietly to the medicine cat apprentice then sprang! "Gotcha!" she yelled springing at the shecat, picking up snow as she jumped.

Mirrorpaw turned as she heard Ivypaw, snapping out of her reverie. As the medicine cat apprentice was upwind, she hadn't smelled her, and her eyes widened as the stronger warrior apprentice bowled her over. Mirrorpaw squealed, trying to push Ivypaw off with her hind legs. No success. She might need some warrior training herself if she wanted to be able to defend herself. I can do this. A flash went through her mind; she remembered her old mentor teaching her a battle move that usually worked unless the opponent was larger than you. Every cat was larger than Mirrorpaw except for kits, considering her size, but Ivypaw wasn't that much bigger. The two she-cats were around the same age. So she panted for a minute, then made a massive effort to spring up, hoping to send Ivypaw flying.

[Ivypaw]

It worked. Ivypaw landed on the ground wet in the snow. She then got up and shook the snow off of her fur and turned her green eyes to the medicine cat apprentice once more, Bring it medicine cat! She raced to the apprentice spring in the air and landing square on her sholder pinning her back to the ground. "Pinned ya!" she purred as her tail lashed from side to side in excitement.

OOC//tis kinda powerplaying....well.....I don't know. You can't really say you pinned her....well that move always works. I'll post later when my muse decides to return =P

Mirrorpaw crouched, waiting for Ivypaw to sprint towards her. Classic battle move, she remembered. At the last second, she shot forward, rolling under the apprentice, and pushed up as hard as she could with her hind legs. She made sure to sheath her claws--her paws were touching exposed belly.

[Ivypaw]

Ivypaw suddenly stopped after seeing what she just did to her. She turned to face the medicine cat and mewed, "You just never stop do you?"

Mirrorpaw purred. Come on, Ivypaw. I almost never get a chance to have fun like this. She smiled wistfully. Sometimes the path of a medicine cat is a hard one to take.

The sun did nothing more than make the loner's fur stand out even more. Using only the green grass as his cover, it was no threat if a cat came across his path. He had scented two apprentices a ways back, but it wasn't like they posed a threat on such a musculine tom.
"Sometimes the path of a Medicine Cat is hard to take." a young she-cat purred aloud.
Fierce lifted his head above the grass. The two hadn't even scented him! He just walked straight past them without a single problem.

OOC/////okay Ivypaw, Mirrorpaw has a new name....Glasspaw.

Glasspaw's ears pricked as she heard a rustle. She turned, scanning the grass. There was a flash of ginger [?] fur, and she narrowed her eyes. A large head was raised, but it didn't seem to notice her looking at it. It was a tom. As he padded by, oblivious, Mirrorpaw whispered to Ivypaw, There's a strange cat. There. She pointed subtly with her angular chin.

OOC/yes sucks. whatever. I have a project to do.

Ivypaw glanced through the grass and sniffed that sir. She smelled the air and a tingle went through her spine and looked at the medicine cat apprentice and padded beside her just to make sure she was going to be safe and mewed, "I dont think that this cat is any threat to us...hopefully..." she mewed not taking her eyes off of the grass. Dont play with me kitten! I am stronger then I look... She felt her fur rise a bit and let her claws out just to be ready.

Fierce paused, turning back to make sure that he wasn't seen. Though, he was shocked to see that two pairs of eyes met his exactly.
Stupid Clan kits. They don't know what to do. Just sit and stare, honey, sit and stare. He thought rudely, not daring to express his feelings just in case the two were more agressive than he would've taken notice for.
Are you going to chase me? he thought, letting the words speak through his eyes.
The cream and ginger loner was still hidden in the grass, but he realized it was obviously no use considering that he had already been discovered. He thought for a moment.
I could just padd away, leaving them clueless. Or I could confuse the heck out of them.
Any cat who had ever met the loner knew that he wasn't exactly one to take the nicest route, and always perfered to torture his prey before eating it.
"Are you going to sit there all day, dear?" He mewed aloud.
They're just little kits. Watch yourself. All kits have angry queens on their trails.
His voice seemed to echo through and back to his own ears, and he purred at the affect he had.

[Ivypaw]

Ivypaw listened to the cat and padded carefully to the other cat through the grass. "Who are you?" she mewed showing that she was approachable by letting her fur lie flat. Ivypaw studied this cat very carefully. She was no match fot this one, and she didnt want to be the first one who would take him on. "We're apprentices, sweetheart, not kits" she purred. Your good, but just wait.. she thought.

Is this cat out of her mind?! The cream loner thought, letting his surprise show through his expression.
"Adorable. But the clan cats just call their kits apprentices to give them a feeling of accomplishment, though, clearly," Fierce paused, copying the she-cats actions. "You have an even larger mouth."
Fierce smirked, knowing that this might trigger something in the two clanners.
That's right hun, I'm just a big loner with a reputation. I'm no threat! She smirked in thought. His smirk was heard through a twitching of his tail.
"I am Fierce." He purred, the words pouring out of his mouth as if he had said this before many times. "I don't belong to one of your little packs." He hissed, waiting for the apprentice to finish her remark.
Watch me and learn. He thought, loving the fact that the apprentices hadn't heard of him before.
