Sunpelt eyes stretched wide when he heard the compliment fly out of Willowpaw's mouth. Did she say he was sweet? Did, did she like him? Sunpelt began to feel a bit wheezy and dizzy but he regained his balance. Shifting on his paws he stood up and began to pad away. He did not want Willowpaw to feel that he wanted to leave but this night was too much for him. Dragging his tail he started to leave through the tall grass but he stopped and looked at Willowpaw.

Willowpaw looked at Sunpelt. "Leaving?" she asked, a bit of a sad tone. Did she say something wrong? Maybe he thought she liked him? She softened. "If I make you feel a bit uncomfortable, you don't have to be brave, just tell me." She meowed. "But it's no problem if you want to leave." Really, she had been enjoying Sunpelt's company but she would always see him around the camp I guess. She laughed softly to herself. "I guess those guys were right. I do stand to be intimidating even if I don't try to be." she said it softly as she talked to herself.

Sunpelt stopped and turned. "I'm not trying to be brave it's just that i want to take a little nap." He didn't like to lie but it wasn't a full lie. He wasn't trying to act brave and he did seem a little tired. He just had enough for one day, and he still trembled a bit as he padded on. "But i will see you at camp i guess." he mewed. But before he was gone he heard what she mumbled to herself. "Oh and your not intimidating." he called back and disappeared.

Willowpaw blinked but then smiled. "Yea." she mumbled as she soon went through the tall grass too, not after him, but the late night air had washed away the warm steam of the springs, and she was sleepy. She yawned lightly and then looked at the stars as millions were painted in the sky. "Good night mom. Good night dad." she said softly, and then headed back to camp.
