She woke to the sound of other cats stirring. She had been in a light sleep. BlackMist walked out of the Warriors den and stretched in the more open space. She heard the Waterfall pouring down like usual. Her mouth stretched into a yawn and she looked over at the fresh kill pile it was low. Her stomach growled. Better go and get some more fresh kill before I get myself some food. She looked around and notice that the dawn patrol probably left. She headed out from behind the waterfall heading to the Sun-burned Stones. Her paws tread lightly and swift toward the Sun-burned Stones. When she got there she got into a crotch listening and tasting the air for the scent of prey.
She scenet and saw a mouse a couple of fox lengths ahead of her. It hadn't seen her yet. She was about to pounce when the wind direction changed. The mouse looked up and saw her. She jumped missing the mouse as it sprinted for cover. "Mouse-dung," she said under her breath.
