Name: Shadeflight
Age: 30 moons
Rank: Warrior
Clan: BoneClan
Physical Description: Shadeflight is a very dark - nearly black - gray she-cat with stormy blue eyes. Her eyes have a slightly lighter gray rim around them. She has a very small white marking a bit above her chest on her neck. Her fur on her body is medium-lengthed, but it’s longer on the tail. Her front paws are a mix of gray and white, making them a dark silver. Her claws are a medium-size, and are a very light gray color. The tips of her pointed, slightly short ears are a light shade of gray. The rest of the ears are the same color has her pelt.
Personality: Shadeflight is a very dark character. She hardly talks to anyone, and she doesn’t participate in many Clan activities unless she has to or is asked to. She usually won’t say no.
She is very patient, calm, and secretive. She won’t show her feelings, and she never gets into arguments and never yells at someone to hurry up, or yells at all for that matter, unless she has to.
She’s easily annoyed. If she’s resting in her bed in the warriors’ den, and someone comes in and pounces on her, playfully or not, she’d jump away and tell them to leave her alone with a sharp tone. She hates being bothered in any way.
Shadeflight is very kind-hearted and bright in general. When she isn’t alone, but with her friends or in training sessions, she’ll be bright and try to be happier for them to show that she is not worried about anything, and that she is glad.
History: Shadeflight didn’t have the best life. She was formerly of GustClan, and was a very popular warrior there. Everyone knew her in her Clan. Even cats from other Clans knew her. She loved everyone she knew, and it was rare for her to get in a fight or disagreement with someone.
Shadeflight’s best friend was named Dawnfrost. They always hung out together in their spare time and tried to get on the same hunting patrols and border patrols together. They were like sisters. Friends for life.
One day, the deputy of the Clan announced that HailClan was attacking them because they thought GustClan had stolen their water. The deputy, with the leader’s permission, rounded up a partol to fight back. They chose Shadeflight, Dawnfrost, and a few other warriors. We all went to fight.
Everyone was fighting as hard as they could. They fought so hard that close to the end, they could barely move a single claw. The deputy called out to retreat, and we all did. But I waited for Dawnfrost.
“Dawnfrost!” Shadeflight called out. “Dawnfrost, let’s go!” But she heard no response. She ran back and saw her laying on the ground. She nudged Dawnfrost with her paw. “C’mon, you gotta get up! Let’s go back to camp!” But Dawnfrost wouldn’t move. Shadeflight glanced around. There weren’t any HailClan warriors nearby at the moment, and she knew she had to get out before they came back. Glancing back at Dawnfrost’s body one more time, she ran off with her Clanmates back to camp.
A few moons afterward, Shadeflight met Pantherheart, a warrior tomcat of BoneClan, at the Gatherings. She got over Dawnfrost’s death, and eventually became happy again. After she’d finally gotten over Dawnfrost’s death and was truly happy, an apprentice came back from training to report something he and his mentor saw. It was a liquid substance from TwoLeg monsters of some kind.
Soon after the report, monsters started to invade the forest. GustClan was first. The leader told everyone to run away from the attack. The forest was being destroyed. The Clan ran away, but Shadeflight lost her way with them after checking on BoneClan to see Pantherheart one last time.
Shadeflight didn’t know where she was anymore. She was lost, confused, and she felt a piercing inside her heart. She was a loner now, and had nowhere to go. She ran from the soon-to-be-gone forest.
Moons passed since the separation from her Clan and the destruction. She smelled a slightly familiar scent. It was BoneClan! But what were they doing here, in the middle of a disgusting-smelling swamp land? Did they claim this as their new home after their old one was destroyed?
She slowly padded over to where the scent came from. Perhaps she could join them now that her Clan was lost. After talking to them, the leader and deputy of BoneClan talked to each other for a while after hearing Shadeflight’s story about her Clan, and told her she could join them. But, even after living with ShadowClan for such a long time now, Shadeflight hadn’t seen her old BoneClan friend anywhere.
To this day, she works for BoneClan and is loyal to only them.
Role Play Example: I couldn’t believe what was happening. My home was being destroyed by the horrible TwoLeg monsters. Everything around me was fading away, disappearing right before my eyes. My Clan was running away, following my leader, and abandoning everything they knew. I ran over to check the BoneClan camp. They were nearby, and I had to see that Pantherheart was alright.
Shadeflight stood in shock at the sight of BoneClan’s border. It was completely destroyed already. For a minute, she couldn’t move. She was too shocked to think straight, and she felt dizzy with questions reeling through her head. Still confused, she ran away, not bothering to find out where her Clan hand gone. She didn’t care anymore. Everything was being destroyed, and everyone who was not fast enough to escape.
Without any thoughts of finding her Clan, Shadeflight ran and ran, into the dark forest beyond her home. All she could think about were her friend Pantherheart, the one she cared for most, and her destroyed home. Nothing else seemed to matter. She didn’t even know where she was going. Everything seemed different and she had no idea where she was. She was alone. Alone forever.
