Soft fur bristled in the breeze as Brackentail's hazel-colored pelt was spattered on by the falling rain. He didn't mind the rain, but he didn't exactly love it, either. It was cold, and he was searching for prey to help keep him warm. He twitched his ears, and opened his mouth to taste the air. Mouse! he thought as the scent reached his nose. He crouched down to find it and stalk his prey. After a few moments, he saw the mouse and slowly slinked away to pounce on it. When he came a tail-length away from the mouse, he attacked, and his claws unseathed to kill his snack. Content with his catch, Brackentail headed to the Spring, and sat down at the edge of the fountain. He ate his mouse, happy to have caught something although the whether was bad. He'd been lucky today. Brackentail looked at the water in the fountain. It'd been completely frozen. How much worse was the leaf-bare weather going to get?
After he finished eating, Brackentail ran back to camp. He didn't want to just walk; he would get cold again in a heartbeat. Running always made him lose focus of what was around him. He had no idea what was next to or behind him, and he could only see in front of him. He impatiently ran faster, trying to camp before anything bad could happen. . . .

[Yay you posted it! ^^]
Hawkfeather let out a soft growl, searching the forest floor for any sign of movement. She twitched her nose, and opened her jaw to taste the air. Nothing... She sat down, disappointed for a moment. What am I doing? I should be looking more instead of just sitting here, and hoping a mouse will run to me. Wonderful. What a warrior I am. She sighed, standing up and stretching her stiff legs. Crack! Hawkfeather froze, bristling. What was tha-- She looked up, stiffening. Brackentail. She relaxed, dipping her head. "Sorry, I thought you were an enemy. I get edgy when I hear loud noises..." She mumbled quietly. "Sorry again," she muttered, scuffling her paws on the ground.

Brackentail nearly crashed into Hawkfeather as he ran, and instead of crashing head on into her, he skidded on his paws and he landed face-down on the ground, flipping over. Slowly, he got up, slightly embarrassed. "No, it's my fault . . . ." Brackentail meowed after Hawkfeather apologized. "I shouldn't've been running so fast. Did you get hurt?" He looked up but before he never noticed how pretty Hawkfeather looked. Brackentail stared, almost unblinkingly as he lifted his head. He felt completely stupid for running into her like that, especially since he landed and skidded on his face instead of stopping properly with his feet. He felt like he was burning up, almost in a trance as he continued to stare at Hawkfeather.

Hawkfeather blinked her blue eyes in surprise. "Uhm... I'm fine, but I I should be asking you if you're hurt." She meowed, widening her eyes. "You didn't get hurt from that fall, did you?" She asked, her voice filled with concern, and for once, it was audible. I wouldn't be surprised if he cracked his neck after taking that..." She thought, frowning. She looked up at him, blinking again. "So... Nice... Day we're having?" She muttered, embarrassed by the look. Wow, Looks like I am good at asking stupid questions. Great goin'. She awkwardly sat down, and curled her tail around her paws.
[FAIL. 'Gotta go to school. xD Bye. ^^ It was going to be longer but I ran out of time.]
