NAME Tigerpaw AGE Seven moons RANK Apprentice CLAN HailClan
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION Have you ever watched a pile of leaves burn? Aside from the yellow, this seems to be quite a fitting description for young Tigerpaw. Although no cat has seen her namesake animal, it would be true if one said she resembled a tiger. Despite having no pitch black striping on her sides or a white colour, Tigerpaw is a fairly vivid orange shade. Paler, nearly-gray tabby markings course their way through the warm colours of the she-cat's pelt. The only particularly dark part of her pelt is the small fringe of dusky gray on the tip of her tail. This is basically the only part of her appearance that's reminiscent of her father, whose dark features certainly weren't passed on to his kits. Tigerpaw has never claimed to be beautiful. It's a good thing, too, because the honest truth is that she doesn't have the finest of features. Her muzzle is quite square, with a small, rink-red nose to top it off. A scarce few white whiskers sprout from her muzzle, sticking out in a manner similar to an angry porcupine. Further along, perhaps the softest part about her looks, lie her eyes. Slim, almond-shaped eyes of deep green sit beneath her brow. If you managed to et past her bristling whiskers, close enough to look carefully at her eyes, maybe you could spot the flecks of gold here and there. Tigerpaw's ears are practically standard issue- a little tall, but otherwise a mere a curved triangle. Oddly, both have a tiny tuft at their peak. Tigerpaw's build is hardly exceptional- in act, she does her namesake no great honour with her stature. Being a she-cat, Tigerpaw is naturally a little shorter than most toms her age- and, being short, she-cats also. Tigerpaw promises to grow- she is not small-boned- but is still getting rid of her kitten fluff: you can't expect much yet. This she-cat likes to think she'll get really big one day, but probably will only be of average height. Strong shoulders herald a good fighter, provided she gets the right training.
PERSONALITY Never one to give up easily- that's Tigerpaw. If she approaches something stubbornly, it's bound to say that way. Her father believes she has a true warrior spirit, although at times this smart she-cat can border on stupidity with her stubbornness. As a kit, she once became convinced she could knock over a tree if she hit it enough. Redheart had to bribe the kit to forget about the tree by promising her a tour of the camp. At least nowadays, Tigerpaw isn't quite so fanciful. She can be gullible on gray areas, but has sufficient reasoning power to sort through most things. As a kit, her short temper gained her some repute. Fortunately, Tigerpaw now keeps her tone even despite anger. Although not unfriendly per say, Tigerpaw fits the profile of being prejudiced. It seems to come naturally, as Tigerpaw, when seeing an unfamiliar cat, will often form an opinion. She sticks to it, and may even be too stubborn to change it if it is entirely wrong. A few things Tigerpaw has little tolerance for are kittypets and cats who abandon their Clan. Tigerpaw sees kittypets the same way she sees dogs- twoleg servants, who have no need to worry for their own welfare. Ex-Clan cats- not necessarily rogues- are too self-centered to be bothered with supporting others. Anybody who says different certainly won't be conversing with Tigerpaw very often. Despite looking almost nothing like her father, Tigerpaw at least inherited his notions of what being a warrior is about. Although she has ambitions like any other cat, Tigerpaw sees a warrior name as a free pass to do almost whatever you please. Don't get me wrong- Tigerpaw is a law-abiding apprentice- but she is annoyed by being restricted. At least, Tigerpaw tries to keep that mindset. She can easily get carried away by a jovial mood, and be surprisingly pleasant.
HISTORY The twin kits were nearly impossible to tell apart. Even their own mother, Redheart, had difficulty with them. Little Tigerkit and her brother, Spark-kit, grew up as one, always answering to each other's names. Both the kits had inherited the fiery red tabby colouring of their mother. Duskstripe was a dark, soot-coloured tabby, and very few cats could have ever imagined the short tom was their father, save for the dark tip of Tigerkit's tail. By five moons, most of the Clan were able to estimate which was which. Spark-kit had taken to walking with his tail held high, and one paw, for some reason, couldn't sheathe its claws. Tigerkit, on the other hand, always seemed to look tired, and angry. Perhaps she had a temper beginning to show, but it was merely her natural stance which gave this impression. It was also at five moons, when the two were beginning to go their own ways slightly, that they would torn apart. Without a chance to say goodbye, Spark-kit was gone. Duskstripe, who had witnessed two kittypets attack his son, was also wounded. Although he claimed he saw a twoleg save Spark-kit from the two surprisingly violent kittypets, there was nothing more he or the Clan could do. Tigerkit certainly wasn't happy to lose her brother, even if they had been a little less attached lately. Taking a surprisingly pessimistic view, Tigerkit came to believe- and tell others- that her brother had died- it was better than thinking he had become a kittypet. This unexpected turn didn't push back Tigerkit in her advance, however. Redheart left the nursery when her only kit became Tigerpaw. Duskstripe, despite still having a limp, was also back in the warriors' den. The apprentice is still getting accustomed to being alone, but is already looking for new friends and allies.
OTHER Will need a mentor ^_^ Sorry about the rather silly end to the history xD If anybody would like to 'adopt' either of her parents, just ask.
