Hi Cinderpool, welcome to GOA. =3
First thing you'll want to do is make a character. To do this, go to the Character Applications board. There, you'll find a thread which is stickied that is called the Biography Form. Copy and paste the form, and fill it out. All you have to do is describe what the character looks like, tell us what its personality is, explain his/her history, tell us its name, age, rank, and what Clan it's in. Then you're all set!
