Name: Stoneclaw
Age: 17 moons
Rank: Warrior
Clan: HailClan
Physical Description: Stoneclaw is a dark ginger tabby who takes pride in his looks. He parades around camp, showing off his well toned muscles, especially on his back and shoulders, and his long, lean legs. His almond shaped eyes are a pale, stone-grey, and almost always have a look of passive indifference in them, accompanied by an almost bored expression on his handsome face. He is broad shouldered and wide set, making him look bigger than he actually is, with a strong jaw and a large, well-whiskered mussel. Stoneclaw’s teeth are long and sharp, and his claws are no different. He puts much effort into keeping his thick pelt well groomed until it reflects the light of the sun and glows like flame. Nothing pleases him more than to let everyone know how ‘good looking’ he really is.

Personality: Like any new warrior, Stoneclaw is a proud cat with endless amounts of energy and determination to give for his Clan. His heart is pure and his head is always clear, no matter how self absorbed or arrogant he may come across as. His comrades often see him as a nosy young tom who enjoys nothing better than showing off for the she-cats and impressing the senior warriors, but they are only half right. Although he in fact does find joy in doing things such as those, he is loyal and stead-fast when it comes to his duties. As a new warrior, Stoneclaw is determined to show his Clan that he is a useful attribute. Living in a Clan, surrounded by friends and comrades, is the only thing that he knows; if anything were to happen to change that, this young warrior would surely lose everything that is dear to him. So, in order to hold his pride, his place, and his home, he doesn’t question the ideals of his leader nor of his superiors and would put his life on the line to save his Clan and his friends.
History: Stoneclaw was born as the only one of his litter, to a beautiful she-cat named Leafdance, and her mate Whitefang. He is often told that he looks very much like his father, but he sees a lot of his mother in himself as well. Both his parents loved him unconditionally, and they raised him to be a proud young apprentice with a bright future. During his training, he used to love running through the forest near the water fall with his father, just playing and enjoying the warmth of the season. The two were close, more like brothers than father and son, but it wasn’t to last.
While patrolling alone one late afternoon, Whitefang was attacked by a small group of BoneClan warriors. He was unfairly matched, outnumbered and without a chance. Still he fought to defend himself, but despite all of his desperate efforts, he was tossed into the water fall, and was never seen again. Stoneclaw was crushed, he had lost his father and his friend, but he took it much better than his mother. Leafdance became consumed by her depression, and for a while stopped caring for her young apprentice son. She stopped taking care of herself as well, and refused to see the medicine cat when she became ill with green-cough. As time wore on, her sickness got worse, so that when she learned that she was pregnant seven moons later, she had barely enough strength to give birth to her second liter. In the end, she died during her kitting, leaving only one, small kit to fend for herself in the world.
The Clan tried to find the tiny kit’s father, but no such a cat turned up, bringing about the only suspicion that he was a rogue. However Stoneclaw knew that she needed protection. He took it upon himself to find a queen to look after her until she was old enough to be apprenticed, and did just that in the nick of time. Snowkit was small and weak, and would have died were it not for her brother. After that the two grew closer and closer as she grew, and Stoneclaw soon found himself responsible for her, more as a father than a brother. He watched his sister grow into a beautiful young she-cat, with an attitude to boot, and couldn’t help but feel proud of her when she was given her apprentice name. Now that they are both older, they tend to wander through the forest, in the very spot where Stoneclaw and Whitefang had romped once, and in the end, passed into the paws of StarClan. He tells Snowkit stories about his father, as she has no idea who her real father is. They are best friends, and nearly impossible to separate. Stoneclaw protects her with his life, and would not change a thing about his life in HailClan.
Role Play Example: Sun beams shone through the thick canopy of leaves above the forest floor, lighting up patches of the undergrowth and causing the last dew drops on the leaves to sparkle. Through the greenery, the pelt of a dark ginger tabby cat could be seen moving slowly, prowling over the soft mulch. He walked with his belly pressed to the ground and set paw after paw down as gently as possible. He made no sound as he moved through the undergrowth, save for the gentle brush of ferns against his thick fur. His long, bushy tail stuck out flat behind him and lashed back and forth as he slowly came to a stop. A few fox-lengths ahead of his stone grey gaze, a mouse was scuffling among the roots of a tree, so far unaware of his presence. The ginger warrior slowly pulled back his lips in a silent snarl and he rocked back and forth on his haunches, sizing up the leap. Then, bunching his strong leg muscles, he propelled himself forward and landed squarely onto of the tiny creature, brining it down with a swift bite to its neck. The satisfying taste of its warm blood on his tongue made his mouth water, but he did not dare eat his fresh-kill. The Clan must always be fed first.
Pulling away from his prey, Stoneclaw swiped his barbed tongue over his lips and looked around. Everything surrounding him was still and silent, and when he opened his jaws to taste the air, only the fresh smell of the undergrowth passed over his scent glands. With a satisfied snort, the ginger tom stood up and kicked some dirt over his kill, telling himself to remember to pick it up later. He took one last look around at the trees and the forest, then he set off in the direction of the border with the BoneClan. He had only padded a few tail-lengths, however, when something caught his eye. Stopping and blinking in curiosity, Stoneclaw turned his head to see the smooth surfaces of the Sun-burned Rocks. Their gray-and-red tops seemed to reflect the light of the sun and a warm haze was floating above them. At the sight of the rocks, his limbs felt suddenly heavy and sore; he longed to lie in the warmth of the sun.
“Just for a little while.” He said aloud to the forest, and with his tail held high, he bounded over to the clearing in which the rocks lay. He set one paw on the dark surface of a rock, and almost immediately he felt its warmth creep up his entire leg. A soft purr escaped his lips as he padded slowly to the middle of the small quarry. He arched his back in a long, luxurious stretch, shutting his eyes tight and scrunching up his narrow face, then he relaxed and flopped down for a rest. He kept his eyes closed and curled his paws under his chest, allowing the soothing heat to envelope him and take his mind off of his duties and his obligations for at least a moment. He could hear his own heartbeat, keeping time with his purrs, and after a while the sounds of the forest that surrounded him gradually began to diminish into nothingness. The warmth of the sun on his dark ginger pelt and the heat of the rocks underneath him made him very tired, and although he knew that there were things to do, Stoneclaw eventually allowed sleep to take him.
Other: Well, if you havn't already guessed, his little sister is a character of Dahlia's named Snowpaw! She needs a mentor, and I know there probably is a warrior for her, but if it's not a problem, Stoneclaw could be her mentor! I think it would be really cute, with the whole brother/sister thing!
